Center for New York City Neighborhoods and JPMorgan Chase Create Social Impact Collaboration
Great to see news of the launch of an innovative collaborative #social impact initiative between the Center for New York City Neighborhoods and JPMorgan Chase & Co.
Designed to address the steady, marked decline in #Black homeownership in New York City, the “Generation 2 Generation” (G2G) programme is now in full fledge pilot stage. Financed by JP Morgan Chase, it is being by the Centre.
In 2020, JPMorgan Chase announced a $30 billion commitment to help advance #racialequity, with a core plank to “Promote and Expand Affordable Housing and Homeownership for Underserved Communities.”
The Centre for NYC Neighborhoods’ mission is “to promote and protect affordable #homeownership in #newyork so that middle – and working-class families are able to build strong, thriving #communities.“
Each organisation can press on, individually, with actions they have to support #societal change. By way of #collaboration, however, these two organisations can combine their might, and be that much more powerful in the ambition to build a better #future.
How might you develop and flex your collaborative #leadership competencies and build better outcomes for yourself, your organisation, your stakeholders and #society?
