HSBC Looks to ‘Walking the Talk’ And Align Action with #NetZero Commitment

News out from HSBC today is worth a big cheer! The international #financial conglomerate has now confirmed it will not provide funding to new #oilandgas fields given licenses by the government after 2021. It’s ‘walking the talk’ and aligning its action with #NetZero commitment.

One hopes that HSBC’s announcement and its global #leadership role within #financialservices will act as a signal to other big #banks that there needs to be a halt to funding new oil and gas fields.
