UK SMEs Building for Resilience

The Covid pandemic put to the test global #supplychains; as has, over the last four months, war in The Ukraine. The impacts to #business have thrown into sharp relief the criticality of creating and evolving #sustainable supply chains, built and adapted, ongoing, for #resilience.

The latest NatWest Group Sustainable Business Tracker, released this week, suggests promising progress on this front, with nearly half of #UK #SMEs (46%) having already switched to a domestic supplier due to #sustainability concerns. Another fifth are actively preparing for the future, “looking to re-shore at least part of their supply chain to boost sustainability during the year ahead.”
