Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) Looks to Create DE&I Standards Framework

Good to see the recent news of the Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) announcing the launch of a #Diversity, #Equity and #Inclusion (DEI) standard-setting project.
 
SASB’s intention, with the DEI project, is to advance its Human Capital platform. The focus is on additional (and revision of existing) #disclosure topics and performance metrics across industry standards.
 
Implementing standards, with clear lexicon, common understanding -- and with #reporting and measurement which allows for like-for-like comparisons, benchmarks and references -- is widely recognised as paramount for ensuring that true progress is made by companies.
 
Perhaps, with standards, #greenwashing will become a thing of the past?
