Team Dynamics in a Dynamic World

I read an interesting Sifted interview this week with a Celonis executive who suggested that #AI adoption hasn’t moved as quickly as many expected.

At first glance, that feels like a surprising statement.

After all, scarcely a day passes without another story about AI transforming an industry, changing how we work or reshaping the #future of #business.

Yet perhaps both perspectives are true:-
- The #technology itself is moving at remarkable speed.
- #Organisations, however, often move at the speed of people.

In my #coaching work with #leadership teams, I see this dynamic frequently.

Change is rarely held back by a lack of ideas. More often, it is shaped by mindset, #trust, confidence and an organisation’s capacity to absorb something new.

The challenge isn’t simply adopting the latest #innovation. It’s doing so while remaining clear about who you are, what you stand for and what matters most.

The most successful organisations seem able to hold both positions at once:
- #Curiosity about what’s possible.
- Clarity about what’s important.

Perhaps that’s why conversations about AI adoption can sound so different depending on whom you ask.

The technology may be racing ahead. The #human journey of change tends to take a little longer.
