The Dreaded Return to 'Real Life?' It May Not Have to Be! (a.k.a. Ideas for Post-Holiday Blues)

As many of us are either heading off soon on #holiday, already arrived back, or even on holiday as you read this, it’s useful to have to hand Rebecca M. Knight’s though piece: “Post-#Vacation Blues? Here’s How to Cope.”

I loved the piece! Knight shares a handful of thoughts to consider to help shape a more positive return to ‘real #life,' including:-

·      "Brace yourself for reentry
·      Start slow and small
·      Focus on what you like about your #job
·      Change your #perception
·      Reassess if necessary"

I heartily encourage a read!

More broadly – beyond the topic of coping with post-vacation blues – was the incredibly useful takeaway of the power of ‘reframing’. With an openness to experimenting with reframe, one can:-

-      see things from a new #perspective
-      create new ways of #thinking
-      get unstuck
-      feel imbued, with a revitalised sense of self
