The Sustainable Aviation Challenge: Looking for Soaring Ideas to Drive Change
World renowned inventor Thomas Alva Edison said “There’s a better way to do it - find it.”
That could be the motto for the #Sustainable #Aviation Challenge, a fantastic collaborative initiative launched over the last days by Salesforce, JetBlue Ventures, Deloitte, Airbus, Boom Supersonic, Qantas, World Energy, LLC and other aviation industry leaders.
Launched in partnership with UpLink - World Economic Forum and the WEF First Movers Coalition (FMC), this collaboration positively provokes #eco #entrepreneurs to put forward their best ideas to support #decarbonisation of the hard-to-abate #aviation sector, one of the eight most difficult sectors which also includes #steel, #aluminum, #cement and #concrete, #chemicals, #shipping and #trucking.
Nancy Gillis, FMC programme head said “The challenge doesn’t just focus on legacy producers; it actively seeks to identify and support budding innovators and emerging market players, which are key members of the #netzero puzzle solution.”
American Nobel Prize winner Linus Pauling said “The way to get good ideas is to get lots of ideas and throw the bad ones away.”
What can you do, as a #business #leader, to promulgate a #culture that generates bold and beautiful #innovation to support the building of a better, sustainable #future?
And what ideas have you got for The Challenge?!?
