UK Government Responds to Skidmore Review: Some Elements Actioned, Some Adapted, Some Ignored

This morning edie published a great summary of the #UK #government’s response to the Skidmore Review, the Independent Review of the UK’s #Netzero Plan which came out in January.

As author Matt Mace reflects, the 129 policy recommendations made in the Skidmore Review were each addressed in the Government’s response, which PM Sunak released to mark #Green Day, yesterday, 30 March.

Some points raised by Skidmore were accepted. Some points were rather ignored.

There is some progress, for sure, and that is to celebrated. Whether it reflects courageous or bold #leadership is another matter.
