UK Prime Minister Suggests 'Casual Dress' to Manage Energy Usage

For those of you who haven't yet seen it, Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez this weekend bid those in the #privatesector to ratchet down the use of formal attire and consider adorning in 'business casual' #fashion.

As his country faced 96.8-degree Fahrenheit temperature, the PM took a stand, recommending that one strips off the tie (and, perhaps, other garments, if one dares?!?) to withhold the use of an air conditioner and, thus, save #energy! 

While the ‘stop wearing ties’ campaign in Spain and elsewhere may well have merit, one hopes for far more reaching #government action, globally, in #climate #management.
