EU Parliament and Council Looks to Advance Built Community Net Zero Targets

The built #environment is responsible for up to 40% of #carbon #emissions. It’s also where we work, we live and have capacity to thrive.

Making shifts in the sector is imperative to create those thriving #communities.

Great to see the #EU taking a further stand the abating of h#carbonemissions with the #Energy Performance of #Buildings Directive (EPBD) now on course to being strengthened.

Within the last week, the #europeanparliament and Council has put forward plans to revise current targets, including the phase out of #fossilfuel boilers and the requirement for all new builds to be #zeroemissions by 2030.
